Check our calendar for all the programming for Spring Week, or should I call it, SPRING FORTNIGHT? Because it’s actually 2 weeks of events. It’s going to be insane Wellesley. Insane.
We here at SBOG struggled for a while trying to decide an artist that Wellesley would like, but then realized that we couldn’t possibly appease everybody. So we opted for a concert series. There will be three concerts. Yup. Check it: Santigold, Sunday 4/19, Mickey Avalon Monday 4/20, Jer Coons and Jeff LeBlanc on Thursday 4/23.

People always ask me about what goes on at SBOG meetings and how we make our decisions. Transparency is VERY important to us, because our goal is to better serve the Wellesley student body.
Our solution: a website, more specifically, a blog, that can help SBOG communicate to the Wellesley College student body, as well as provide a venue for students to write about their opinions and respond to our decisions. This blog, or SBLOG (get it? SBOG + BLOG= SBLOG!), is a two-way street.
There are a number of resources here that are standard of any organization website: our mission statement, members, events, calendar, as well as pictures and videos from our various events throughout the years (under Multimedia). There are also a couple of nifty features that provide a space for student feedback and interaction—regular polling (Our Question of the Week), an ability to comment on SBLOG posts, a “Contact Us” button that will have our SBOGgie office hours posted, so you can come in and speak to a member of our committee. There will eventually be a forum for suggestions so people can post and comment on ideas for potential events in the future. Applications for our committee will be posted to this site as well.
I hope that this site will start a solid conversation between the Wellesley student body and SBOG. By becoming involved, you can play a larger role in changing aspects of social life in our community. Please add this website to your web browser and check back regularly. Subscribe to our RSS feed for updates, comment on all things that interest you, and answer our Question of the Week poll. In short, this resource is meant for you, so use it.
Explore and enjoy!
Much love,
